At OTR, we welcome all levels of experience and political opinions. We believe that the diversity of perspective is what makes this campus special, and we want to give you a way to share your views with our community.

We are student-run and student-led, bringing the student lens to politics. OTR is a space for innovation. We want our staff writers to get creative, think big, and make OTR what they want it to be. Beyond educating and informing, we want to inspire dialogue. If you think there is a perspective we are missing, come and write for us.

Don’t have much experience? Don’t worry, that’s the point. Our team learns and grows together, and we have a number of journalism workshops to get you up to speed. You will also get the chance to work with GU Politics, and take advantage of the many opportunities they have.

Staff Writer Responsibilities

• Write four articles a semester

• Attend biweekly pitch/training meetings

• Be a supportive member of the OTR family
